Bien arrivé hier soir !!!

Départ 8:45 de Bridport et arrivée à 15:15 au pub Vinyard'sGap à Cheddington òu nos amis de Crewkerne nous.attendaient por la dernière étape..Cheryl and Mike,Véronique,Lorna,Gabrièle, Diana and John, Ms and M.Newman,and other friends. We walk the last 5 miles along the Parret river trail and the Stone Cutter path and arrived by 6 pm at the old coach hotel près de la gare.La photo ci de contre ete prise à la frontière entre le Dorset et le Somerset.

Le temps est beau pour la dernière étape

Abbotsbury-Bridport section with David

Very nice trip.well arrived by 5:30 pm. David joins us at the tropical garden in Abbotsbury. We start by noon.very nice landscape near Westbay.Impressive cliffs !.

Surprise at Weymouth!

We well arrived in Weymouth by 15:00 local time. David Craner, the town crier of Crewkerne was there to welcome us!! . It was big surprise for 4of us :) ! He shpws us our hotel,the Dolphin hotel in pub with 60's standard music. I will put photos this evning. Now are going to Portland Bill for a walk

The strawberry grocery at Guernesey: the top in efficiency !!

No employee, no expensive shop floor, very low cost business. Just put the fruits in a box at the fence, have a price list pined, use the mail box as a cashier. We saw also like that flowers shops, bookshops. Unbelievable for us, coming from a big city !

Walking in Guernesey: Nice houses and lot of flowers

With sunny weather what a nice walk we went along small roads or along path in Guernesey. Very pretty house well care garden. Lot of flowers!. We start from hotel at 4:00 pm and come back at 7:00 pm for diner. The houses and gardens are nicer on the east and center part of the island than on the west part. We met nice people everwhere to help us to find our path.

Bien arrive a Guernesey, avec 1h de retard. Recherche de l'hotel! Ouf trouve grace au restaurant La Perla a st Pierre qui nous a donne son code WiFi. Un coup de Google Maps avec les coordonnées GPS de l'hotel

Nous avons failli manquer l'embarquement par le morutier la Grande Hermine rentrait d'une campagne de peche de 3 mois et l'ecluse etait fermee !
